Former Jammu and Kashmir Governor Satya Pal Malik visited a police station in Delhi's RK Puram on Saturday, a day after receiving a summons from the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) in a corruption case. "The heads of the Khaps had come to express solidarity with us. My house didn't have enough space so we arranged a lunch for them in a park. Police under pressure informed us that this arrangement in a park was illegal. So we courted arrest," said Mr Malik while speaking to media persons outside RK Puram Police station in Delhi. "CBI had come to seek clarification on my complaints of corruption. This fight will continue till 2024. This government can arrest me, get me killed, but I am not bothered. I am ready to fight. They want to scare me but this won't affect me, I have the support of many people," he added.
