The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) won the Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) election. "In the last six months, liquor gate, ED searches took place. Even then the AAP emerged victorious. The real challenge is to clean up Delhi. Delhi is number 37 in India in terms of cleanliness. It can be cleaned easily. A lot of things that the BJP did, had they done it honestly, it would not have been such a big problem," said Durgesh Pathak, AAP's MCD polls in-charge, when asked whether the BJP gaining more percentage of votes than the last time is a bad sign for the AAP.
