Real ID Law Passed After 9/11 Attacks To Come Into Effect? US Homeland Security Chief Says Yes
Starting May 7th, US citizens will need a Real ID to board domestic flights, enter federal buildings and access military installations. This mandate is in line with the Real ID Act of 2005, a federal law enacted to enhance security after the 9/11 terrorist attacks.
