"Rebellion Began In Villages": Journalist P Sainath
Discussing his shift towards talking about people who fought in the freedom struggle, journalist P Sainath says, "One of the travesties about history writing is that most of us grow up thinking that battles were all by returning Oxford elites. All the great anti-colonial rebellions began in the villages." He further says that no one who fought in the freedom struggle would be alive in five years.
