Red Alert In Kerala, Flood Crisis Far From Over
There seems to be no respite from the floods for Kerala. The bad news is that they are expecting more rains and the word deluge can be used for parts of the state that are completely now cut off. With over 324 people dead and over 6 lakh people in 3,000 relief camps, drinking water is running out and so are food supplies. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has announced Rs 500 crore relief and several Chief Ministers have also sent help but much more is required.
