Reforms may take time but there is no other alternative: Pranab to NDTV
Coalition politics is a reality that the UPA government will have to accept, says Finance Minister Pranab Mukherjee. Speaking to NDTV in Washington, on the sidelines of the annual World Bank and IMF meetings, the Finance Minister acknowledges that the government's success will depend on its ability to take coalition partners along. Nonetheless, the minister was willing to commit to specific policy milestones over the coming year.
