Refugees At The Border, Will Romania Enter Ukraine Conflict?
The Romanian Ambassador to India says that with 70,000 refugees coming into Romania from Ukraine, about 1,500 Indian students are still waiting at the border. This is even as Romania makes efforts to send financial relief, and the authorities and citizens mobilise to 'welcome' those fleeing because of the crisis. While Romania is likely to be secure because of its membership in NATO, "everything is possible with Putin," says the ambassador; the focus is to prevent escalation into a third world war.
