Regulatory Body Suspends PresVU Eye Drops Amid Unapproved Claims And Mislabeling
The drug regulatory authority has suspended approval for PresVU eye drops, produced by Entod, due to unapproved claims and incorrect marketing. The Ministry of Health clarified that PresVU is not authorized to reduce the need for reading glasses or provide near vision improvement within 15 minutes. Despite being approved for treating presbyopia in adults, it was authorized only as a prescription drug, not an over-the-counter product.
