Releasing US oil storage unjustified if crude prices continue to rise: Barclays Capital
Amrita Sen, Commodity Strategist, Barclays Capital told NDTV Profit that the demand for oil in Asia is strong, while in the US it is weak. As far as the release of the Strategic Petroleum Reserve (SPR), which is an emergency fuel storage of oil maintained by the USA's Energy Department is concerned, she said that it cannot be justified if the prices keep ticking higher.
