"Remember Manmohan Singh As A Kind Mentor": Ex Finance Commission Chief NK Singh
NK Singh, politician and former chairperson of the Finance Commission, said he remembers former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh as a kind, gentle and compassionate mentor. "I remember him very famously saying that contemporary media and his opponents may not be, but history would be kinder to him as an ultimate outsider who came into the Indian political spectrum, went to the top… I remember him in multiple ways, most importantly as a kind, gentle and compassionate mentor. He was a humble man. A decent man. And, therefore, an often misunderstood man," Mr Singh told NDTV.
