Acoustics pioneer Amar Bose, who died on Friday at the age of 83, was an unusual millionaire. He was a professor of electrical engineering at the prestigious Massachusetts Institute of Technology for four decades and drew salary like any other employee of his company. He preferred to live simply without any of the trappings of wealth. In this special series, Made Of India, we take a look at the life of this scientist and inventor and the spiritual core behind his corporate philosophy.
