Remembering Squadron Leader Ajay Ahuja Vir Chakra
At the height of the Kargil War, Squadron Leader Ajay Ahuja, flying a MiG-21 was searching for Flt Lt. K Nachiketa, an Indian MiG-27 pilot who had ejected. Ahuja was himself forced to eject when Pak surface to air missiles struck his aircraft. The brave Squadron Leader was captured by Pak forces and shot dead. As India celebrates our Kargil victory, Sq Ldr Ahuja's widow looks back at the life and times of her husband, whose first love was always figter flying.
