Residents Clap From Balconies As They Prep For 'Janata Curfew'
Hundreds of people in high-rises in Gurgaon and Bengaluru were seen clapping from their balconies as they get ready to observe "janata curfew" on Sunday, an initiative by Prime Minister Narendra Modi to prevent the spread of COVID-19, a disease inflicted by the highly contagious Novel Coronavirus. In visuals, the residents are seen clapping – as requested by PM Modi – to show their appreciation to health professionals who are in the frontline in the fight against coronavirus.
