Government Didn't Believe In Retrospective Taxation: Revenue Secretary
As the Centre moves to scrap the controversial 2012 law to tax companies retrospectively, Revenue Secretary Tarun Bajaj said that the decision was taken earlier and that it was a commitment of this government since 2014. "We want to send a message to investors both in India and abroad that we are a safe and good nation," Mr Bajaj told NDTV.
