In an apparent reference to his past in which he drove an autorickshaw, Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde on Wednesday slammed his predecessor Uddhav Thackeray saying an autorickshaw has outpaced Mercedes car. In an exclusive interview with ANI, Shinde said, "(Auto)rickshaw has left Mercedes behind because this government is for common people. This is a government that will give justice to every section. We will work in a way that every constituent, everyone feels it is 'my government', 'it will work for me'. This will be the difference," Mr Shinde said. (Video credit: ANI)
