Once seen as a real up and comer in the Biju Janata Dal, now there seems to be an open war between Jay Panda and Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik who has been, in many ways, his political guru. After Mr Panda openly spoke out about the need for introspection within the party, the BJD seems to have come hard at him targeting him not just politically but also striking at his family's business interests.
