Rishi Sunak is once again back in the race to be the UK Prime Minister. Liz Truss quit her post after a 45-day tenure as the Prime Minister. But will the second time be a charm for Rishi Sunak? In a tweet, Mr Sunak said he will be contending for the post of Prime Minister. He said he aims to resolve the economic crisis in the UK and also unite the Tories as a party. The 42-year-old is the clear frontrunner as he raced ahead with the backing of at least 128 Tory MPs, even as loyalists of his former boss - Boris Johnson - claimed he too has the necessary 100 MPs needed to make it to the shortlist. While Boris Johnson is yet to officially declare his candidacy, the contest is shaping up as a three-way fight between Mr Sunak, Mr Johnson and third-placed Leader of the Commons Penny Mordaunt.
