Rising Crimes Against Women In Bengaluru: Statistics Show Alarming Trend

A new police report suggests women continue to be unsafe in Bengaluru. In fact, over 3,200 crimes against women were reported this year as per this police report. But what seems to be a silver lining is that the conviction rate seems to be high. Of the 303,260 cases, over 3,100 cases were solved this year. Cases of rape, dowry, and cruelty by husbands have also gone up. Cases of immoral trafficking have also surged, raising concerns that a progressive city like Bengaluru is reporting such high rates of crimes against women.
