RLD's Jayant Choudhary on Battleground UP
Rashtriya Lok Dal MP from Mathura and Ajit Singh's son Jayant Choudhary is contesting the Assembly elections in Uttar Pradesh as a candidate from the Maanth seat in Mathura. The focus of the 6th phase of polling (on Feb 28) is western UP, where the RLD hopes to make good on its Jat vote-base. The RLD is fighting this election on 45 seats in western UP as a Congress ally. But the fight for this young MP is a tough one as he is up against a 6 term sitting MLA. NDTV's Ketki Angre spoke to the leader about his strategy.
