Road sector better than many others, but still a long way to go, say experts
Speaking on the show Money Mantra, Pradeep Singh, managing director at IDFC, says the sub-sector has performed better than other infrastructure sub-sectors such as power, water supply and airports. However, while these roads are of good quality, there is a lot of cross-traffic which ends up spoiling the driving experience, adds Professor P.V. Indiresan, former director of IIT Madras.
