It's a multi-million dollar effort at translating historic Indian works to English, but now, 130 scholars have hit out at Rohan Murty, son of Infosys' Narayan Murthy for picking a Columbia University Professor as the editor for his Murty Classical Library. They say this is anti-Indian and politically-biased. The petitioners say the renowned Professor Sheldon Pollock should not be the Chief Mentor of the Library. But Mr Murty has held his ground. He explains to us why being a foreign national shouldn't come in the way of scholarship on India.
