Row over Chidambaram-Raja's May '08 meeting on 2G
Questions are now being raised over reported meetings between P Chidambaram and A Raja in May 2008, minutes of which were not recorded. Briefing the JPC on 2G spectrum allocation, the Economic Affairs Secretary has said that then Finance Minister Chidambaram and then Telecom Minister Raja met several times in May 2008 to discuss the 2G spectrum issue. When asked for minutes of those meeting, the JPC was told that they don't exist.
