RSS Chief's Mandir Push: Road To 2019 Via Ayodhya?
In about two weeks from now, the Supreme Court starts hearing the Ayodhya title case for what may be the final resolution of the decades-long dispute about who is the rightful claimant to the disputed site. While the building of the Ram Temple has long been a BJP agenda, unlike 2014 when 'vikas' or development was the focus before the elections, it seems Hindutva is back as the main plank this time around. The RSS chief made a big push for Ram Mandir calling on the government to bring a law to bring a law if needed to get the temple made.
