Rupee breaches 57-mark; hits new lifetime low
The Indian rupee steadily weakened to touch 57-mark against dollar on Friday, after risk assets were hit by heightened concerns about the world economy. It hit a new lifetime low of 57.16 to the dollar in afternoon trade.
