Rupee Fall Hits Students Going Abroad for Studies
The sharp fall in rupee against US dollar crossing Rs 79 a dollar is hitting hard students who have secured admissions overseas. For many availing education loans, it's a double whammy with a rise in interest rate as well. NDTV's Sam Daniel spoke to Varsha Hari, a graduate in Chennai who has secured admission at a university in Canada, to get a sense of the hardship faced by students like her.
