In today's episode of India Global, the rupee dropped 12 paise to an all-time low of 85.06 against the US dollar in early trade today, as a hawkish tilt from the US Federal Reserve sparked a broad dollar rally. The rupee's decline is not an isolated event, as other Asian currencies also weakened during the day. The Korean won, Malaysian ringgit, and Indonesian rupiah all fell by 0.8%-1.2% during the day.
