Russia Pounds Ukraine With Airstrikes After Kyiv Denies Role In Kremlin Attack
Russia has hit out at the USA and accused Washington of orchestrating what it says was a 'Ukrainian' drone strike on the Kremlin early Wednesday morning intended to 'assassinate' Russian President Vladimir Putin. Ukraine has resolutely denied any involvement in the said attack and has insisted that Russia's claims are simply a pretext to justify another large-scale attack on the war-torn country.
