Did India Wait Too Long To Get Citizens Out Of Ukraine?
A 21-year-old student from India, Naveen, was killed in Russian shelling earlier today in the Ukrainian city of Kharkiv. His roommate told NDTV that he had gone to buy groceries and was waiting in line when the shelling happened, killing him instantly. Just yesterday, Naveen had video called his family back in Karnataka. The killing prompted the PM to call another meeting on Ukraine this evening, with thousands still stranded. There is now criticism from several families and the opposition that the government waited too long to get people out.
