"Russian War Machine Doesn't Benefit": Ukraine Softens Stand On India Buying Oil
While talking exclusively to NDTV, Ukrainian foreign minister Dmytro Kuleba invoked Mahatma Gandhi's legacy and said that the truth is on their side and hopes that India is on truth's side. When asked about his previous remarks where he hit out at India for purchasing Russian oil, he said, "We realised that Indian money wasn't entering Russian economy and wasn't financing the Russian war machine." He also spoke about India-Russia ties, the upcoming Switzerland Peace Summit and role of United Nations during wars.
