Rutgers acquisition to push revenue to Rs 10,000 cr; debt to Rs 7000 cr: Rain Commodities
Rain commodities has announced a Rs 4900 cr acquisition of Belgian firm Rutgers. T Srinivasa Rao, CFO, Rain Commodities, explains that the acquisition makes strategic sense and that the group will see consolidated revenues of over Rs 10,000 cr post the deal. However the management acknowledges that post the acquisition, debt will rise to Rs 7000 cr and debt-EBITDA ratio will rise to 4x.
