Sam Manekshaw: Remembering a legend
No one of consequence attended the funeral of India's first Field Marshal Sam Manekshaw as the government had said that it was not required since protocol does not call for it. But at India Gate in New Delhi, signing the condolence book for him, the ordinary people made it clear that Sam Manekshaw was as loved by them, as he was by his men.
