Samajwadi Party leader's sons accused of razing doctor's home at gun-point
The police says that the three sons of a leader of the ruling Samajwadi Party in Uttar Pradesh have demolished a house that was being built by a doctor in eastern part of the state. On Saturday, the young men, whose father Ram Lal Akela is a state legislator, reportedly pulled out guns at the construction site in a village in Rae Bareli. They were allegedly accompanied by an armed group of 30 supporters who destroyed the construction. A local police inspector was allegedly part of the mob.
