Samajwadi Party Not "Oppressive": Leader After 6 Expelled BSP MLAs Meet Akhilesh Yadav
Six expelled MLAs of Mayawati's Bahujan Samaj Party in Uttar Pradesh met with Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav amid reports that they might switch parties or form a new one. NDTV speaks to Samajwadi Party MLA Irfan Solanki who said people are meeting Akhilesh Yadav ahead of the assembly elections because the Samajwadi Party is a welcoming space, and not oppressive like Mayawati and or the BJP.
