Samsung Strike in Kancheepuram Enters 19th Day as Company Rejects Union Recognition
The strike by more than a thousand workers of the Samsung Electronics Manufacturing plant at Kancheepuram has entered its 19th day. While the strike had hit fifty productions ahead of the festive season, the company has yet again appealed to workers to return saying it would consider all their demands except recognition of their union. NDTV's Sam Daniel spoke to Samsung's legal counsel Anand Gopalan.
