The Central Bureau of Investigation has ruled out gang rape in the doctor's rape and murder at Kolkata's RG Kar hospital, an incident that had shaken the country. Sanjoy Roy, who used to work with the Kolkata Police on a contractual basis, had raped and murdered the doctor, the CBI said in its charge sheet today.
The central agency, which completed the probe within two months, will submit the charge sheet at the Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate's court at Sealdah this afternoon.
