Anna Hazare was detained in Delhi today minutes before he was to set out for his fast against corruption. Slamming the police action, former Karnataka Lokayukta Santosh Hegde said, "Government's intentions are clear. It wants to crush this movement. Delhi Police wouldn't have done this without the backing of higher-ups."
