SC allows Tamil bloodsport jallikattu

Just three days ago the Supreme Court had denied permission to conduct jallikattu calling the taming of the bull festival barbaric, but on Tuesday it allowed the sport to be held under strict monitoring by the animal welfare board. The supreme court which had refused to permit the traditional taming the bull festival last week softened its stand.
