But today, in a big setback to the Narendra Modi government, the Supreme Court has said that charges against 110 people, who were booked under POTA for setting the Sabarmati express on fire, have to be dropped. The court has upheld the findings of a committee that had said the train fire was not a conspiracy. But the Gujarat government had refused to implement the committee's findings.
