SC forms team to re-probe Godhra riots
The Supreme Court on Tuesday agreed to constitute a five-member special investigation team (SIT) to re-investigate the post-Godhra communal riots and said it would submit its report within three months. Six years after the Gujarat riots left at least 2,000 dead and thousands homeless, it's a fresh setback for the state government.
