SC not bound by judges' remarks: CJI
The Chief Justice of India cleared the air on Thursday over the recent criticism of judicial over-reach by a two-judge bench of the apex court. Agreeing to examine a Public Interest Litigation (PIL) on the plight of widows in Brindavan, a three-judge bench headed by Justice K G Balakrishnan made it clear that PILs for the right cause be heard.
