SC orders prosecution of Nasscom chief

In an unprecedented judgement that could have larger repercussions, the Supreme Court on Thursday ordered the prosecution of the former chief of Hewlett Packard's (HP) outsourcing business Som Mittal for not providing enough security to a woman staffer. Pratibha Srikant Murthy was raped and murdered by the company driver while on her way for the night shift two years ago.
