SC ruling: Muslim leaders not convinced
The Supreme Court on Thursday ordered that all states should bring in legislation within three months to ensure compulsory marriage registration for all faiths. While activists say this will be useful, Muslim religious leaders in the city of Hyderabad, that has become notorious as a bride bazaar for Arab Sheiks, are far from convinced.
