SC to examine corruption charges against judges
In the corruption case against judges involved in the provident fund scam, the Supreme Court is set to examine the issue on July 14, whether to order a judicial probe or not. The issue will be now heard by the Chief Justice of India. The allegation is that an official siphoned Rs 23 crore from the employees' provident fund. The scam allegedly involved 26 judges including sitting High Court Judges and a Supreme Court Judge.
