SC to hear govt's plea to extend SIMI ban
The Supreme Court will today hear the Centre's petition to extend the ban on the Students Islamic Movement of India (SIMI). In its fresh affidavit, the Centre has produced evidence against SIMI showing its involvement in the Ahmedabad serial blasts on July 26 and its nexus with international terror outfits.
