SC urges law on marriage registration
The Supreme Court has directed all states and union territories to enact laws within three months to make registration of marriages compulsory.The Apex Court passed the order after noting that several states had made registration of only Hindu marriages compulsory.The court on Thursday said registration of marriage of all religions will be mandatory.
