On a special edition of Agenda, 145 girls from border areas across the country share firsthand accounts of their struggle to get just basic education. We meet the girls breaking all barriers to exercise their right to education as they tell stories of courage and bravery. A class 12 girl talks about attending school without a teacher at the Indo-Nepal border while another talks about a 40 km walk across a jungle with preying animals. We talk about various challenges faced by schools along the border areas from lack of basic facilities like electricity, roads and toilets to severe crunch of teachers.
