"Scientists Investigating Reasons For Joshimath Land Sinking": BJP Leader
When asked if relocating the entire town of Joshimath is a viable solution or not, Ram Kumar Walia, the BJP leader from Uttarakhand, said, "The scientists are doing their work, they are probing as to what exactly is responsible for land subsidence in Joshimath. Till now the probe findings don't find the NTPC plant to be responsible for the crisis. The government will take action against whomever is found to be responsible."
