Shiv Sena MP Sanjay Raut was arrested by the enforcement directorate at midnight after over six hours of questioning in an alleged land scam case. He will be produced in court today; Meanwhile, a debate on price rise will take place in the Lok Sabha today; A Congress MLA from Jharkhand has now alleged that his colleagues arrested in Bengal had asked him to meet Assam chief minister Himanta Biswa Sarma. Denying the charge, Mr Sarma said he continues to be in contact with Congress leaders because of his long association with the party.
