Sena's Sanjay Raut In 4-Day Enforcement Directorate Custody
Rajya Sabha, too, saw disruptions as Shiv Sena MPs protested against the arrest of Rajya Sabha member and senior party leader Sanjay Raut in a land scam case. Arrested Shiv Sena MP Sanjay Raut was sent to four-day custody of the Enforcement Directorate in an alleged land scam case. The Sena MP has claimed that he is being framed as part of a political vendetta. In court today, the agency claimed that Mr Raut was summoned thrice for questioning but he appeared before it only once. During this time, he tried tampering with key witnesses.
