Sensex, Nifty Drop In Early Trade; Rupee Slips
It's been a weak session so far for the equity and forex markets. The Sensex fell more than 100 points while the Nifty slid to 11,015 in early trade on Friday, tracking weakness in global peers amid concerns on world economic growth. Meanwhile, in the forex market, the rupee moved further below the 70 mark against the dollar.
